Public Involvement Process
The US 40 project includes a comprehensive public involvement plan specifically designed to ensure a high level of public awareness of study progress and to provide a wide range of opportunities for public review and comment on the study process and findings.
Project information and announcements regarding upcoming meetings will be provided to the public on this Web site, as well as in the City of Steamboat Springs’ monthly email newsletter informational surveys or questionnaires, newspaper media, and stakeholder meetings.
Public open house meetings will be scheduled at key project milestones to present project information developed to-date, provide opportunity for the public to comment on that information, and to obtain public input for upcoming milestone decisions.
This page will be updated with information as it is developed and distributed throughout the course of the project, and will include newsletters, public open house meeting information, and public input received at public open house meetings.
